Information

The name ‘De la Haye Ensemble’ refers to the painter Raymond de la Haye (1882 – 1914), who left a remarkable oeuvre from a symbolist and luminist vision. His work is related to visual art as well as to the literature and music of his time. WWI brought an abrupt end to this young, passionate artistry. An important collection of his paintings, drawings and etchings is preserved and permanently exhibited in the Stedelijk Museum in Lier, Belgium.
